Privacy notice

This notice explains the account-security signals used to help protect jugs.lol.

Account security signals

When you use jugs.lol while signed in, we associate your account with a random, first-party browser ID stored in an HttpOnly cookie. If configured, we also store a keyed HMAC of the request IP address. We do not store the raw IP address in these account signals.

These signals may show that accounts used the same browser or network. They are clues for reviewing abuse, not proof that accounts belong to the same person.

Access and retention

Account signals are visible only to the site owner and administrators explicitly granted the security-review permission. They are automatically deleted after 90 days. Browser IDs are random and are not derived from your device or other cookies.

Moderation records

When an administrator suspends, bans, or reinstates an account, the action, reason, time, and responsible admin account are recorded in a private audit history. Only the site owner and admins granted moderation permission can view it. Records are removed if the affected account is deleted.

Controls

You can clear the browser ID by removing jugs.lol site cookies in your browser. A new ID will be created at a later signed-in visit. Clearing it does not erase signals already recorded for your account; contact the site owner to request their deletion.
